A simple way to archive a large file is ‘multi-rar’ it, this normally makes it smaller, but splits it up into parts, which is then perfect for distribution, image 128gb image upload to a server and the internet cutting out after youve uploaded 120gb and having to start all over again, or the instability of some download providers, glitching the download and it not working correctly – so with a ‘rar archive’ you simply download the missing file all over again instead of the whole thing.
Breezip is a program that fully supports rar4, whilst some other programs may support it, it is fully supported by Breezip, most of torrent “rar” files are in rar4 format – if you have extraction issues, using Breexip usually solves this!
Using a program called Breezip you simply find the FIRST (.part01) file in the archive, and right click and then extract here, this will then extract all parts.
